art by izabelle uses a mix of metals including sterling silver, fine silver, 14k gold, copper, and goldfill to create her wearable art.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Izabelle is an artist and metalsmith based in Bishop, California. She enjoys painting, playing music, graphic design, spending time with her dogs, and being with family. Growing up in the Eastern Sierra continues to influence both her artwork and creative process.

After graduating from high school in Bishop, Izabelle moved to Long Beach to pursue her education. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Studio Arts from California State University, Long Beach in 2024.

Combining the techniques she developed in college with her lifelong love of painting, Izabelle began creating hand-painted enamel and sterling silver jewelry. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted in her home studio through a process that combines metalsmithing with painted enamel work. Inspired by her surroundings and a love for the outdoors, her jewelry reflects color, nature, and the landscapes that have shaped her artistic voice.

Care Guide

Enamel Jewelry Care

• Handle with care — enamel is glass fused to metal and can chip or crack if dropped or impacted.

• Store in a dry place away from humidity and direct sunlight.

• To clean, gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishing cloths directly on the enamel surface.

• Sterling silver components may naturally tarnish over time and can be polished carefully while avoiding contact with the enamel.

Sterling Silver Jewelry Care

Sterling silver naturally develops a patina and may tarnish over time, but with proper care it can be enjoyed for years to come.

• Remove jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping.

• Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, oils, and household chemicals.

• Store in a dry place when not in use, ideally in a sealed bag or jewelry box to help reduce tarnishing.

• Clean with a soft polishing cloth made for sterling silver.

• For deeper cleaning, use mild soap and warm water, then dry completely.

• Avoid abrasive cleaners and be gentle around gemstones, enamel, or delicate details.

14k Gold-fill Jewelry Care

14k gold fill is made with a thick layer of real gold bonded to a base metal, making it durable and designed for long-lasting wear.

• Store in a dry place when not in use to help preserve shine.

• Clean gently with a soft cloth and avoid abrasive materials.

• If needed, wash briefly with mild soap and water, then dry completely.

• Avoid excessive friction or harsh cleaning methods to maintain the gold surface.

• 14k gold fill can be worn in water; however, drying your jewelry afterward is recommended to help preserve its shine and reduce quicker tarnishing over time.

what is enamel jewelry? *

Enamel jewelry is created by fusing powdered glass onto metal using high heat in a kiln. This process creates a smooth, durable, and colorful surface that becomes permanently bonded to the metal.

Each enamel piece is unique and often created through multiple firings and layers of color and detail. My enamel jewelry combines hand fabrication with hand-painted enamel techniques to create wearable pieces inspired by color, nature, and the outdoors.
